Day 1: JOHANNESBURG MON, 22 SEPT 2025
Meet at O.R. Tambo International Airport at the Turkish Airline check-in counter for your flight to Istanbul. Please ensure that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure.
Day 2: ROME / THE ARCHBASILICA ON ST. JOHN LATERAN / TUE, 23 SEPT 2025
Arrive in Istanbul and check in to your flight to Rome.
Arrive in Rome Airport, proceed through customs and collect your luggage. Meet and greet by a local assistant, transfer to your accommodation and check in. Enjoy time at leisure and lunch. (for own account)
In the afternoon, transfer to visit two Major Basilicas. The Archbasilica of Saint. John Lateran, the seat of the papal throne, the oldest and the first in the established order of the papal basilicas, Saint. Mary Major, the largest church in Rome dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
In the afternoon, enjoy time at leisure for private devotion or shopping before transferring to the Vatican for a guided visit to St. Peter’s square and Basilica.

Day 3: PAPAL AUDIENCE / ROME WED, 24 SEPT 2025
After breakfast, transfer to the Vatican for Papal audience.
Thereafter, enjoy a panoramic tour of ancient Rome, with the evocative ruins of the Roman Forum, political, military and social centre of the whole Roman Empire. Continue for a guided visit on foot to the famous squares and fountains of Rome.

Day 4: ASSISI / TOMB OF ST. FRANCIS / BASILICA OF ST. CLAIRE THU, 25 SEPT 2025
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and transfer to Assisi.
Meet with the guide and visit the tomb of St. Francis in the Basilica dedicated to the saint in Assisi. Explore the quaint hilltop birthplace of St. Francis that still retains something of the atmosphere of the early 1200s, the period when the saint began his ministry. Contained within the huge 13th-century Basilica is many of the saint’s possessions and a series of frescoes by Giotto depicting his life.
After a look at the ancient Roman temple, go to the Basilica of St. Clare to see the saint’s incorrupt body. The foundress of the Order of Poor Clare’s followed the teachings of St. Francis by living a life of poverty and humility.
Celebrate possible private Mass in St. Clare or in St. Francis Basilica. Continue to your accommodation and check in.

Day 5: ST MARY OF THE ANGELS FRI, 26 SEPT 2025
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and enjoy a visit by a local friar of the Porziuncola and the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels.
Enjoy time at leisure before transferring to Ancona port.

Day 6: DUBROVNIK SAT, 27 SEPT 2025
Arrive in the morning in Split Port and transfer to your accommodation Dubrovnik, and check in. Meet the driver and depart for a half-day city tour of Dubrovnik. After arriving at the drop off point, walk along the path to meet the guide at the main entrance to Old Town, Pile Gate. Enjoy a visit to the Church of St Blaise. The Church is dedicated to St. Blaise, the patron Saint of Dubrovnik. It is a richly decorated Baroque church, with stunning works of art and architecture.
Meet at the pre – arranged pick up point and transfer to the hotel.

Day 8 - 13: MEDJUGORJE MON, 29 SEPT - SAT, 04 OCT 2025
After breakfast, check out of you accommodation and depart to Medjugorje.
Each morning after breakfast, attend Holy Mass in English. Visit the visionaries for a talk, climb ‘Podbrdo’ (The Hill of the Apparitions) and climb ‘Mount Krizevac’ (Cross Mountain) through the Stations of the Cross. Attend talks offered by the parish priests and visit the “Cenacolo”, the drug rehab center run by Sr. Elvira. The Church is alive in Medjugorje and the Franciscans present a wonderful spiritual experience through their daily program of Mass, Confession, Recitation of the
Rosary, Adoration and spiritual talks. The following “Daily Program” includes the devotions which can be practiced daily as part of your Medjugorje experience. Your day-to-day itinerary includes other activities and excursions which will be available for you during your stay.
