This hockey tour will take you from Amsterdam to Zaanse Schaans, Bloemendaal, Meensheerenland, Hoekshe, Zoetermeer, Rotterdam, Einhoven and finally Boxmeer. The team will partake in 7 matches versus local clubs of similar strength and 2 specialist coaching sessions. There will be time for local sightseeing described in the itinerary below. Accommodation is made up of hosting and hostel type accommodation.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: JOHANNESBURG
Departure from South Africa, please make sure that you arrive 3 hours before departure.
Meet at O. R. Tambo International airport at the check-in counter for your flight departing to Amsterdam.
Enjoy dinner on board of your flight.
Day 2: AMSTERDAM
Arrive at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam this morning, proceed through customs and collect your luggage.
Meet up with your coach driver and transfer to StayOkay Vondelpark. Check in on arrival and receive your 72hr GVB tickets for transport around Amsterdam.
Enjoy seeing the sights of Amsterdam this afternoon, followed by dinner at the Stayokay this evening
Day 3: AMSTERDAM
Enjoy breakfast, followed by a morning at leisure to explore Amsterdam and all it has to offer. After lunch you have an opportunity to transfer to a Amsterdam / Pinoke HC to watch a Hoofdklaas Match.

Day 4: AMSTERDAM
Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. Transfer to Amsterdam HC, via public transport, for your specialist coaching session this morning.

Day 5: AMSTERDAM, ZAANSE SCHAANS, BLOEENDAAL
Breakfast at Stayokay this morning.
After breakfast, the coach will collect the group and transfer you to Zaanse Schans. Day at leisure sightseeing at the delightful village of Zaanse Schans with its characteristic green wooden houses, hump-backed bridges, charming gardens, historic windmills and engaging little shops.

Later this afternoon, you will transfer to Bloemendaal for your second match of the tour and then depart with your hosts for your overnight stay.

Day 6: BLOEMENDAAL, MINSHEERENLAND, HOEKSHE WAARD
Enjoy breakfast with your hosts this morning
Once the coach has collected the group from the club, you have the morning at leisure to explore Bloemendaal before departing for Mijnsheerenland.

This afternoon, you transfer to the Hoeksche Waard HC for your third match of the tour,

Followed by an evening of Dutch hospitality with your hosts for the evening.
Day 7: HOEKSHE WAARD, ZOETENMEER
After breakfast with your hosts, depart for Zoetermeer.
Upon arrival at Snowworld, Zoetermeer, you will collect your equipment and start your Snow Fun experience with a one hour skiing lesson after which you will have a short break and be given an energy drink and chocolate bar. You then embark on a one hour snowboarding lesson followed by half an hour of tubegliding. Please ensure you bring warm clothing & gloves!

Day 12: EINHOVEN, DE HOGE VELUWE NATIONAL PARK, AMSTERDAM
After breakfast, the coach will collect the group from the club and depart for De Hoge Veluwe National Park. The Park is a conservation area with over 5000 hectares of woodland, heathland, grassland and sand drifts, providing endless options for enjoying a bit of peace and quiet. Ramble along well-marked paths, use the Park’s walking map or the cycle paths with the bicycles supplied, giving you the chance to encounter Red Deer, Mouflon and Wild Boar.

This afternoon, continue onto Amsterdam where you will check into the Stayokay Vondelpark on your arrival and receive a 24hr GVB card for transport around Amsterdam. End of coach tour
