Day 1: JOHANNESBURG TUE, 22 SEPT 2026
Meet at the O.R Tambo international airport and check in to your flight to Israel.

Day 2: HAIFA / NAZARETH WED, 23 SEPT 2026
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport. Meet your local guide and driver. Proceed via the coast to the Roman Aquaduct. You will visit the Carmelite Monastery Stella. Bahai Shirne. Arrive at your accommodation in Nazareth for check in

Day 3: TIBERIAS / SEA OF GALILEE / CAPERNAUM / MT. BEATITUDES THU, 24 SEPT 2026
After breakfast you will start your day with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. Our stop will be on the shore of Capernaum where Peter lived and where Jesus began his public ministry (Matth. 4:13). This is where he began teaching in its Synagogue, healed a man who had the spirit of an unclean devil and healed a fever in Simon Peter’s mother-in-law (Luke 4:31-41).
We will continue with your tour to the Mount of the Beatitudes to gain a panoramic vista of the Sea of Galilee. This is where one of Jesus’ famous teaching episodes Sermon on the Mount was given (Matthew 5-7). Afterwards you will transfer to Tabgha the fruitful garden where Jesus fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish (Mark 6:30-46).
We shall see the magnificent mosaic commemorating the miracle of the multiplication.

Day 4: NAZARETH / CANA / MT. TABOR FRI, 25 SEPT 2026
After breakfast we shall visit the Basilica of Annunciation in Nazareth. You will also visit Mary’s Well and the Church of the Angel Gabriel. Afterwards you will proceed to Cana the site of the First Miracle. Continue to the Franciscan chapel for a renewal of wedding vows. In the Afternoon head to Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration (Matth. 17:1-8). You will ascend with a smaller motor vehicle due to its narrow route.

Day 5: JERUSALEM / HOLY CITY / BETHLEHEM SAT, 26 SEPT 2026
After breakfast you will transfer to the hill country, to the city of (Ein Karem), the birthplace of St John the Baptist. Continue with your tour to visit the Church of Visitation, where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited the home of Zachariah and Elizabeth, and proclaimed the ‘Magnificat’ (Luke 1:39-80).
In the afternoon you will transfer to the Shepherd’s Fields. This is where the angels announced the birth of Jesus. Afterwards you will visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. You will kneel in the Grotto the birth place of our redeemer as we celebrate a Mass. You will also visit the nearby Milk Grotto.

Day 6: MOUNT OF OLIVES / PALM SUNDAY / GETHSEMANE SUN, 27 SEPT 2026
After breakfast we shall start our pilgrimage in Jerusalem from Mount of Olives. This is the place from which Jesus ascended to heaven after his resurrection. We will have an eye on history through a majestic view over Jerusalem. Afterwards you will visit the Convent of Pater Noster with the Lord’s Prayer in displayed in 110 languages, and the Ascension from where ascended to Heaven (Acts 1:9-11).
You will walk down the “Palm Sunday route” stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41). Continue with your tour to visit Gethsemane, the Rock of Agony where Jesus prayed His last prayer before his arrest. “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me”. Mass will also be celebrated in Gethsemane.
In the Afternoon visit the cave of betrayal (Luke. 22:40-46). You will continue your journey to the cave of Assumption of Mary to Heaven. You end this glorious day at St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied Him thrice. You will visit the Upper Room.

Day 7: STATIONS OF THE CROSS / HOLY SEPULCHRE / ECCE HOMO MON, 28 SEPT 2026
After breakfast take part is an inspiring, full day of meditation. In the early morning we retrace the last steps of Jesus. As we walk along the Fourteen Stations of the Via Dolorosa, praying the Stations of the Cross, we reflect on the greatness of His sacrifice as he bore the burden of our sins on the Cross at Golgotha.
We arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Mass. Walk back towards St. Stephen Gate to visit St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary and her parents Saints Joachim and Anne.
You will pass the Ecce Homo where Pilate proclaimed “Behold the man”; then the Wailing Wall, the most holy shrine for Jews. Nearby is the Dome of the Rock or Temple Mount.

Day 8: BETHANY / DEAD SEA / JERICHO / BAPTISMAL SITE TUE, 29 SEPT 2026
After Breakfast we will pass Bethany on our way to visit Lazarus Tomb where we will celebrate a Mass. Afterwards you will enjoy a swim (or rather a float!) in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, renowned for its minerals and healing properties.
In the afternoon you will pass to the town of Jericho, the most ancient city in the world. You will also stop at the Sycamore Tree which believed that Zacchaeus had climbed up a Sycamore Tree as he wanted to catch a glimpse of this wonderful saviour.
Continue to go and view Mt. Temptation where Jesus spent forty days and forty nights fasting and meditating during the temptation of Satan. Stop at the Traditional Baptismal site.

Day 9: BETHLEHEM / JOHANNESBURG WED, 30 SEPT 2026
After breakfast checkout of your accommodation and transfer west to Emmaus, where the Risen Lord accompanied the two grieving disciples. Continue with your journey. You will stop at the Latroun site. Afterwards you will proceed to Jaffa, the place from where Jonas made his encounter with the whale, and where St Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner when he had his dream to accept the Gentiles to the new faith of Jesus Christ.
In the afternoon you will transfer to Tel Aviv’s airport to make our journey home.
